We start our journey together with a relaxed morning drive from Antananarivo toward Andasibe, easing into the trip with a short stop at Peyrieras Reserve (Mandraka). This is a fun first taste of Madagascar’s wildlife, where we may see chameleons, geckos, and other small endemic species.
We then continue the road toward Andasibe, stopping for lunch in Moramanga or Andasibe, depending on timing.
In the afternoon, we visit the Vakona Reserve and enjoy a peaceful walk among the lemurs and forest surroundings. As the day comes to an end, we head out for a guided night walk, when the rainforest reveals its nocturnal life, including mouse lemurs, frogs, and glowing eyes in the darkness.
